Data erasure

According to international safety standards and specific requirements

Valuable information, very often worthy of protection, is obtained from company data. They are the capital of every company. Nowadays, almost all information concerning either the company itself or those with which a company works is stored on media and must be protected from unauthorized use.

Consequences of data misusage:

SECURITY AT DATA DELETION COMES FIRST

At compits, we pay significant attention to the secure, irretrievable and audit-proof deletion of all data on old equipment and IT components that, for ecological reasons and economic considerations, should not be destroyed and disposed of, but should be remarketed.

compits relies on erasure procedures and certified data erasure according to the highest international security standards.

CERTIFIED ERASURE STANDARDS

For each company and each individual case, we address company-specific requirements and determine the appropriate deletion standards and procedures:

Blancco SSD Erasure

NIST 800–88 Clear

NIST 800–88 Purge

DoD 5220.22‑M ECE

U.S. Army AR380-19

TRANSPARENCY IS IMPORTANT TO US — FROM ON-SITE PACKAGING TO DATA ERASURE

Because of the sensitivity of the topic of data security, it is particularly important to us to guarantee companies the highest possible transparency with regard to the deletion of data media. This begins with the packaging on site and ends with the successful data deletion of the respective data carrier on our premises. Once the data has been erased, a certificate with serial number, time stamp and details of the erasure procedure used is issued and transmitted for each erasure process. Broken data carriers that can no longer be erased are professionally destroyed and recycled.
